Trading and Order Blotter

Harmony has an integrated trading module complete with a comprehensive order blotter and various trading algorithms.

The order blotter is well integrated with the rest of the system. You can create blotter items through any trading algorithm in the system, import trades into the blotter from Excel or create them in the blotter itself.

The Harmony built-in trading algorithms include:

• Allocation to % of Portfolio, Asset Class, Asset Mix

• Pro-rating

• Modeling against a defined Model Portfolio

• Increasing / Decreasing Positions

• Creating one-off trades while reviewing portfolios.

The trading algorithms are created like "Lego Pieces" and can be arranged in any manner necessary in order to accommodate the client-specific requirements of your firm. We are able to assess your trading requirements, how you classify accounts, how you look at your models, etc. and design the trading processes using our core algorithms in order to allow you to meet your mandate as efficiently and automatically as possible.

The order blotter is very dynamic and can accommodate anyone from experienced traders to summer interns. The blotter can be set up in two modes to allow simple trade entry or comprehensive partial fills throughout the day.

There are numerous reports available on the order blotter, providing you with a complete paper trail of your activities. Simplifying things further, Harmony's order blotter can also be customized to communicate with external trading systems.
